You shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to live  in.
(Isaiah   58:12b)

Randall Memorial UMC will host a Healing  Communities Training seminar on May 25, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to help participants explore how their congregations can engage in fostering community, family and inter-personal relationships with persons coming out of the prison system and people affected by crime, incarceration and the reintegration of former inmates.

This seminar is presented by the Criminal Justice and Mercy Ministry of the Baltimore-Washington Conference, The United Methodist Church.  It is open to anyone and everyone who wishes to develop or participate in ministries for returning ex-inmates and the families, churches and communities that welcome them home.  The event includes a continental breakfast, lunch and a training manual. Registration requires a $25 donation.
