Our Ministries

Picture
Randall Memorial United Methodist Church has a youth ministry that serves youth through summer programs. We also sponsor special youth events, trips and activities, as well as youth-led worship with a choir singing on third Sundays.

We also have vibrant fellowship and ministry activities through our chartered United Methodist Women and United Methodist Men’s organizations. Both meet on fourth Sundays after our 10 a.m. worship service.

Partnering  the Southeast (D.C.) White House, we try to address the growing problem of hunger in our community by providing free bread and free groceries from our pantry of donated food. We also provide meeting space for appropriate groups in the community--for example, an Alcoholics Anonymous group that meets every Wednesday at 7 pm.

Nurturing and engaging disciples of Jesus Christ to be participants in God’s transforming work in the world is our main focus at Randall. That focus includes worship enhanced by a gifted music ministry and dedicated ushers, pastoral care and counseling, weekly Bible study classes and life-changing mission opportunities. It also means offering occasional seminars and workshops on various topics, from prayerful fasting for spiritual discipline to understanding our Christian faith and the United Methodist Church.

The second Saturday of each month, "
Lunches for the Hungry" Ministry goes out in the community to distribute lunches.
